8.2 How do I animate textures?

You can animate the settings in a Material that control the texture coordinates.
With the mouse in the MaterialButtons (F5) press the 'i' at your keyboard for a menu.

8.3 How can I create a motion path?

Let's explain it with a small example. Create a new scene and insert a sphere ( Mesh->Icosphere ) and a path ( Curve->Path ). You should modify the path a bit because the default path is a little bit to boring. Now select the sphere and the path and make it parent ( see ... ). Both objects must remain selected for the following steps! Go the the anim buttons and select CurveFollow. That's it! Press ALT+ato see the animation. If the sphere should move along the path you have to select the sphere and press ALT+o to clear the origin.

8.4 How do I stretch the animation to have more frames?

Go to the AnimButtons (F7) put the old frame rate in the 'Map Old:' button and the new length of the animation in the 'Map New:' button. This allows you to "stretch" the animation with all the keys.
