Why is my SGI Visual PC slow in EditMode?
You have to set up your workstation for serious 3D OpenGL work. Choose "Display Properties" and configure the "Silicon Graphics" settings as indicated in these screendumps.  This is the Display Properties window. Select Silicon Graphics settings Select an existing preset, and click at Copy. Rename this settings to "Blender" or something more original... Now press the Properties button and fill in the tabs as illustrated in the next four images. You can experiment with other values, but these settings work!     |
